Sueños Pescados

I came across a quaint fishing boat during an evening stroll at Playa Herradura Costa Rica. Not too far from there on the same beach a marina sparkled with luxurious sportfish yachts. As I revisited the little blue boat I observed a local Tico fisherman securing it for the night. A wry thought crossed my mind that this unassuming boat probably harvested more from the ocean than those flashy yachts ever would. The sincere and proud smile the fisherman directed my way seemed to confirm my notion.
