Archival, in relation to artwork, refers to the materials and processes used to ensure the longevity and preservation of the piece. I use professional-grade oil paints known for their high pigment loads and exceptional lightfastness, ensuring they maintain their quality and vibrancy for generations. I paint on engineered wood panels prepared with sizing and multiple coats of gesso to minimize aging effects. Additionally, my paintings are varnished with a breathable, non-yellowing, and removable varnish that offers protection against dust, dirt, and UV damage.
