Beacons Wildflowers

Painted during one of the wettest and cloudiest winters in Southern California that I can remember. Despite the constant rain, Southern California experienced a Super Bloom. In this painting featuring a view of Encinitas' popular surf spot, Beacons, I aimed to capture the vibrant display of wildflowers. I used my artistic license to portray it as a clear day because I was tired of the reality of endless clouds.
